The Alliance Française, a reference institution for French as a Foreign Language (FLE), is a worldwide network whose main missions are the
teaching of French to adults and children, the training of FLE teachers, and the promotion of French culture.
Founded in July 2017, Alliance Française Amsterdam is located in the premises of the Central Public Library of Amsterdam (OBA).
Under the authority of the Director of Studies and in collaboration with the pedagogical coordination team, teachers are responsible for delivering face-to-face teaching to learners (group classes, private lessons, in-company courses, etc.), as well as carrying out related pedagogical activities.
